The initiative is faciliated by the Midland Area Cultural Awareness Coalition and reminds us that inclusive neighboring is the catalyst for building a sense of belonging across our county!

On Friday, Sept. 8, MCESA hosted a START (Statewide Autism and Resources & Training) RCN (Regional Collaborative Network) meeting at its Longview Early Childhood Center. Educators from Bay-Arenac ISD, Saginaw Intermediate School District and MCESA joined together with regional ABA providers to improve collaboration across agencies -- the goal being to improve student outcomes and quality of life for our families by streamlining programs and services. #mcesabettertogether

Did you know that our Great Start to Quality (GSQ) offices support child care providers across nine counties (Clare, Gladwin, Isabella, Midland, Gratiot, Clinton, Shiawassee, Eaton, and Ingham)? One of the ways that providers (and the community as a whole) are supported is through a Lending Library that is hosted by GSQ. The Lending Library consists of themed experience bins and story stretchers as well as resources for early childhood educators. 📚
This is a great resource for classrooms, in-home child care providers, parents, grandparents, and others who are providing care for children! Lending Library locations are in both Midland and Lansing. Full details about the Lending Libraries are available within the flyer images as well.
