October is Cultural Awareness Month, and to celebrate, the Cultural Awareness Coalition is holding a creativity contest for the community! All are invited to creatively express and share their stories related to connection and reconnection. Submissions are due October 1. MCESA buildings will be closed Friday, September 3 through Monday, September 6 in observance of Labor Day weekend. Classes will resume on Tuesday, September 7. We hope everyone has a safe and restful holiday.

There will be no school for the Post-Secondary programs at the MCESA Sugnet site on Tuesday, August 31 to allow for additional cleanup from flooding. SK12 will return to school on Tuesday, August 31.

The Midland County Health Department is hosting weekly walk-in clinics for anyone who is still interested in receiving the COVID-19 vaccine.
