Superintendent Searles shared opening remarks, and all are set to participate in a program hosted by Erin Patrice from The Breaking Bread Village for the day. This week, MCESA welcomed back all staff for professional development opportunities and opening week! Today, the special education team is at Davenport University where they are able to participate in number of breakout sessions hosted by MCESA team members and community partners including "Managing Medical Needs," "Fellowship: The Art of Gathering," "Mindfulness," "Managing Behavior in 12 Words," and much more.

The MCESA Sugnet building parking lot demolition started yesterday! As a reminder, the Sugnet building is open for summer (Monday through Thursday), but during this time, accessible parking, deliveries, and quick drop-ins are available in the bus loading zone in front of the building on Jefferson Avenue. Any other visitors who will be in the building for an extended period of time are asked to please plan to park at Trinity Lutheran Church.
